How to use layoff and layiso command in layout viewport

In the model space, when you use layoff and layiso to turn on or off layer in AutoCAD drawing. And you can show back these layers with layon command. However, if you use this command in currently layout viewport, you don’t show temporarily layers turned. All this layers is frozen. So how to use layoff and layiso command in layout viewport like the model space?
LAYOFF
1. Type LAYOFF > Enter
2. Type S > Enter
3. Type V > Enter
4. Type O > Enter and then select layers need to turn off.
LAYISO
1. Type LAYISO > Enter
2. Type S > Enter
3. Type O > Enter and then select layers need to turn off.
Note: you should remember that make setting before you use layoff and layon command
