AUTOCADTIP.COM – How to select text quickly by content in AutoCAD?
Command used: QSELECT
Step by step as follows:
Step 1: Right-click on the drawing space and select Quick Select or type in QSELECT on the command line.
Step 2: A window will pop up.
Step 3: On Apply to: You can choose if you want to apply the filter to the whole drawing or just to selected objects.
Step 4: Object type, choose the objects that the filter will work on, they can be different types such as Text, Mtext, and more.
Step 5: Under Properties, choose Contents.
Step 6: The Operator controls the range of the filter. Select *Wildcard Match to filter text by contents.
Step 7: For value, we will type the text that will be used for filtering.
Step 8: Under How to apply, check the Include in the new selection set option and hit OK.
