How to use the command Polyline in AutoCAD?

It’s so easy. You can do it step by step as follows:

1. Start the command

Type PLINE or just PL in the Command Line.

Press Enter.

2. Specify the start point

Click in the drawing area or type coordinates (e.g., 0,0).

3. Specify the next point

Move the cursor and click, or type a distance (e.g, 100 then Enter).

4. Continue drawing

Keep clicking to add more points.

You can type distances or angles for precision.

5. To draw an arc segment

Type A then Enter

Pick arc points or use the options shown on screen.

6. Finish the polyline

Press Enter to stop

Or type C then Enter to close the shape.
