For opening a file in AutoCAD 2012, it is completely the same other files application software.
Step 1: You must prepare setup file AutoCAD software. You can buy it or download link free.
Step 2: Install this software on your computer. After installing are AutoCAD shortcuts on desktop.

Step 3: Let’s open drawings
- Go All programs > chose folder Autodesk > chose folder AutoCAD 2012 – English > click AutoCAD 2012 – English.
Restart AutoCAD 2012
- Or you can restart AutoCAD as following: click double AutoCAD 2012 shortcuts on desktop > show AutoCAD interface.
- Click File > chose Open or press Ctrl +O or type Open command or click the Open icon > show Select file box > chose file of type is dwg > chose drawing need to open > click Open button.

When you click drawing’s name open, you see Preview function shows an image of the drawing selected. This function can help overview content of file before opening that drawing.
- The other way, click Folder that have drawing > click Left of mouse double on drawings need to open or click file and press Enter or click Right of mouse > chose Open.
