Step 1:

You open the Control Panel Home window to follow the path: Start/Control Panel/Programs and Features and then click on “Turn I Windows Features on or off” to open “Windows Features” window activate “net framework”.

Step 2:

Windows Features opens up, if to be either .NET framework 4.6 Advanced and .NET framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) are not installed. Now you select and then click OK to download and install.

If you install to follow above tutorial but still get an error, the cause is the version of Autodesk understand the .NET framework 4.5 but Windows 10 understand .NET framework 4.6. To resolve this error, you try to do steps as follow

Step 3:

You go to Start -> Run -> Type Regedit -> Ok

Step 4:

Regedit Editor window pops up.

You accessed at the following URL: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/.NET Framework Setup/V4/Client. In the right panel, you seek to file Version.

Step 5:

You double-click on the file Version and then Edit String window pops up.

In the Value data card: You changed to 4.5 and click Ok to accept.

If the message Error Editing Value show up means you do not have the right to change this setting.

Step 6: (If step 5 above error message, it just made this step)

  • In the left window, you right click on the file Client and choose Permission card.
  • Permissions for Client dialog box pops up.
  • You choose Administrators card (On your PC/Administrators) and then click on Full Control.
  • Users (your computer name-PU/Users) and then click on Full Control.
  • Click Apply and then click Ok to close.
  • You do it again Step 5.
